Who'd have thought I would miss the internet sooooo much. No crafty friends to talk to, it even took my mojo with it. I did get a couple of cards and the basis of some more poinsettias made, but it was really odd trying to do it without the computer on and stopping to check twitter and Facebook every few minutes. You would have thought it would be easier to get things done really, but hey this is me and I'm nothing if not awkward.
Anyway, I must take photos of the cards I made at some point today, as it is hubbys birthday tomorrow so it'll be too late then. So I'll hopefully share those with you shortly after I've taken them.
Time to get ready for the day job now ~ back later

Welcome to my NEW blog
This is where I can be me - Yammas - and talk about all manner of craftiness. My other blog, well it seems to have gone a little stale lately and I can't get into the mood to see what I can do to rectify that, so I thought I'd start again.
I'm going to try and put all my WIPs on here ans show you new items as soon as they are ready to go live in my website http://yammascardsandcrafts.com/ . My other blog, well, I'm not sure if it's going to die a death or be for the other half of me - Sam.
Now these are my latest babies - poinsettias. I designed them all by myself (no pattern required), yes it's not difficult when you know how, but for me it's a massive milestone.
I'll show you some more photos of these soon when I've got them into their final guises...some will be brooches, maybe hairbands, definitely a candle decoration or 2. The plain red ones are still in need of leaves at the moment, so as soon as I've found some green 4 ply cotton in the shade that I want, they'll be finished off properly too.
Well, that's all I have for you at the moment, but I hope to have more shortly.
